Our hosting provider had some major hardware issues that took down all of my sites from sometime on Sunday until just now. In fact, I'm still reinstalling some of mine, but I wanted to get bassplaying.com back up as soon as possible. So chime in and test things out. If you find anything odd, post a comment here. And welcome back. I'll have a fuller explanation after I have the other sites in the wheatdesign.com empire restored.

The Idea:
Bass-in-a-Box (BassIAB) gives you a chance to demonstrate your creativity while learning about the creative process of other bassists here at Bassplaying.com. The idea is simple:

• We provide a backing track (mp3) without a bass line and (usually) with a chord chart
• You load it into your Digital Audio Workstation and record a bass line.
• You export the entire track to a single mp3 file.
• You post a link to your file to the forum.
