a great social networking tool that allows teachers to keep in contact with other teachers and friends. For a teacher heading out to a rural setting this site would be a godsend, as they wouldnt' feel completely isolated. This site is not suitable for students. But teachers can find groups that are designed for teachers to share resources, ideas and sometimes just vent anger and frustration, as well as the joys and excitement that come with being a primary school teacher.

Good site that can provide a new age pen pal connection. Allowing children to connect with people all over the world and discuss ideas, obviously would need to be design for aged appropriate classes.

Facebook is a website that allows communictaion between people from across the world. If used in the classroom, students would be engaging in technology however there are obvious safety and privacy issues that would need to be monitored.

Facebook is a website that helps people connect with others all around the globe. Facebook is primarily used by students in their senior years of school and by people finished schooling, however, facebook could be used in primary school to talk with people around the world ensuring that the teacher keeps the account private and safe.

Facebook is an online tool in which people use to connect with people from all over the world. If used in a classroom it could be used for such activities as a way of an online pen pal with people on the other side of the world. Teachers can also interact outside of the classroom with their students through Facebook. It is a fun way to interact with people both from here and abroad.

Face Book is a good technology exercise to use with older students. Students can create their own face book page to communicate with each other or people around the world. This activity would be educational and engaging for students.

This is a fantastic social networking site that allows people to communicate with each other from all over the world. It could be an excellent resource within the classroom as it could allow students to communicate and liase with each other using a different method of communication.

Facebook, if used in the right manner, is a great educational tool. In a classroom context, the teacher can use Facebook to post public forums, send private messages and send gifts as praise to students who are doing well.

This site couldbe utilised in a classroom context by the teacher creating a group for his/her particular class. From this the students could discuss what they would like to learn, what they like about their lessons and what could be developed. The teacher could then use this feedback to improve his/her lessons.

Facebook is recognised in todays society and may be overlooked as an educational tool. Teachers could use facebook in a number of activities for the students making their learning enjoyable and modern.

This is a very useful social networking site. Facebook provides older children with the opportunity to communicate with their peers outside of school. This is a great way for children to learn about technology as it is fun and interactive.

This website is a really good way to communicate with friends and family. This website allows students to interact with their fellow students and can be utilised for a multitude of reason such as assignment work or in a social context.

Facebook is a global social networking site. Users are able to communicate with friends via written messages and live chat, and are able to post photos and videos. The program is perhaps inappropriate for younger students, but a beneficial communication and expression tool for older students. Teachers can benefit through the many "Groups" formed by other teachers, which provide an interactive communication resource for lesson ideas etc.

If you have a design challenge that invloves students communicating with other students all over the world, this could be the answer. Students can share photos and communicate with anyone. Would be best for upper primary.
