like a step back in time. The beautiful Mount Si is in the background and it
feels like you are back on your Grandmother's farm. The flowers are gorgeous and
the owners Aimee & Jerry are so friendly and helpful. They seem to be very
knowledgeable about their product and by the looks of the field they certainly
know their dahlias. Also, the prices are very reasonable for cutting. I have
purchased their bulbs and am now growing beautiful dahlias myself. The bulbs are
of utmost quality as every one I planted came up and put on a beautiful display.
Would highly recommend a trip out to North Bend which in itself is a very scenic
small town and you can always stop by the famous Twin Peaks restaurant and see
the actual place where the TV show originated. Also, their cherry pie is to die
for."

the 1930’s. In addition, in August we have a large U-cut sunflower garden with
many varieties and colors which make beautiful bouquets. We are located six

4 miles down the road, on the corner of Kelly Road NE and NE 145th St. Comments
from a visitor: "My son and I have gone to this farm for two
years now, and they are great! They have such a wide veriety of strains that
there is always something in season throughout the summer, even after most
farms are out. Their bushes are large and there is a conifer forest at the
end of the rows, so there is shade! The drive out on Kelly road is so worth
it, as there is construction on cherry valley road and you MUST take Kelly
road out. We pick two buckets in about thirty minutes and spend under $10.
The late season varieties are even sweeter than early summer."
Another visitor writes: "I live right
down the street from Cottage Gardens. This was my first year picking
blueberries there. The couple who own the gardens are very nice people.
Blueberries were only $1.25/# (at least near the end of the season). I have
only picked on the front section of the property and they have 7 rows with
each being a different variety of blueberry. The gal there said in overall
they have over 400 bushes on the property. Highly recommended!"
Another visitor writes (July 9, 2007):
"We have picked there the last 2-3 years. They have a variety of different
blueberries that ripen over the season. The patch is in a pretty, wooded
area, and the owners are very nice. Great place to pick blueberries!" Yet another visitor writes on August 10, 2007: "This was
a fantastic place! We went this afternoon and it was wonderful! The owner
was delightful - friendly and informative about the different types of
blueberries. She chatted with us while we picked (and she was picking and
adding to our buckets!) The variety of berries was great - we didn't know
there were so many kinds and it was fun to pick a "blend". We would highly
recommend this farm!".

A visitor writes on October 18, 2008: "Arriving
at the Jones Creek Farm, you see a red barn nestled in the blue Cascade
mountains. You already feel at home as Chomper and Copper, the Price
family's dogs welcome you wagging their tails and Talea and Les Price offer
you a cup of fresh apple cider. Then it's off with provided wagons and bags
to the orchard where Talea can tell you about every apple there, letting you
know where to find the best sweet or tart varieties. There is only one rule
at Jones Creek Farm and that is you should try every apple you possibly can.
If you don't like it, throw it under the tree and move on to the next apples
to taste. We were there for 3 hours last weekend and were stuffed as we
left. Talea and Les are passionate about their farm and it shows. Not only
is the farm beautifully kept and the crops grown organically, but not
certified, they can also tell you all you want to know about the crops and
how best to prepare them. Their friendliness and letting you taste and pick
whatever you want is truly a unique experience. I moved here from the east
coast where apple-picking is a common autumn outing, but I never visited a
farm as friendly and knowledgable as the Jones Creek Farm. I will definitely
return, perhaps for the garlic festival, tomotoes and the tree grafting in
the winter."
