At SSI 2008, NCSCE launched the SENCER Digital Library, a system that allows users to access and search all SENCER resources in an intuitive manner. The Library houses a growing collection of courses and programs in the model series, SENCER backgrounders, and will also soon encompass articles from the e-Newsletter, course materials, and short essays. With the addition of the 2008 Models to the system, visitors can easily navigate the information on the course background, activities, the civic issues addressed, assessment methods and analysis, and relevant citations.
SSI 2009 will be held from August 6-10th and will be hosted by Harold Washington College (Chicago, IL) and the SENCER Center for Innovation-Midwest. We invite applications from teams and individual educators, administrators and students interested in learning more about the SENCER approach and how to improve courses and programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
