Illinois political corruption

Hours after federal investigators announced they had arrested Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his chief of staff on corruption charges, U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald declared Tuesday a “sad day for government.”

“Gov. Blagojevich has taken us to a new low,” he said. “This conduct would make [Abraham] Lincoln roll over in his grave.”

Now keep in mind Illinois last governor is sitting in prison now and it doesn’t take a real bright person to figure out their present governor is “Duh” worthy!

There’s been some major announcements in regards to VPs and so forth.

While we personally do not endorse any single candidate as of yet, we’d like to hear your thoughts!

I know it “Takes all types to make the world go around” but some sure are borderline nuts

At least he did it in the morning before it got to hot and burnt his “feet” … cough cough … lol

A lot of folks enjoy a few cold beers and of course there is nothing wrong with that at all… besides those that can’t “help” but get drunk!

Nowadays though, the drinking games in the college groups are getting deadly.

An Associated Press analysis of federal records found that 157 college-age people, 18 to 23, drank themselves to death from 1999 through 2005, the most recent year for which figures are available. The number of alcohol-poisoning deaths per year nearly doubled over that span, from 18 in 1999 to a peak of 35 in 2005, though the total went up and down from year to year and dipped as low as 14 in 2001.

Now that’s some real scary duh numbers there!

The weather seems to be doing some wid things so far this year!

Global warming? Mother nature just clearing her throat so to speak? Just the regular (and just recently being acknowledged / semi -understood) “earth” patterns emerging?

GARRICK Jacobson was in custody at Sydney’s Surry Hills police station when he apparently discovered his girlfriend used to be a man.

Within hours of being released on bail, he went to her apartment and started “belting the hell” out of her, Downing Centre Local Court heard yesterday.

The two NSW police officers who allegedly revealed the information about his then partner’s past are now charged with breaching privacy laws.

Hard to say that one was an oversight huh?
