The Vietnam wood processing industry has seen a breakthrough in recent years. The value of exported wood products from Vietnam was estimated at nearly $US 2 billion in 2006.
Realising the potential of the furniture industry, the Vietnamese Central and local governments are swinging the door to the market wide open, welcoming both foreign investors and trade partners. Furniture outsourcing to Vietnam, therefore, has grown rapidly and is projected to have very strong growth growth in the near future.
This furniture fair, held in HoChi Minh, features office furniture, children furniture, customised furniture, ceramic home and equipment tools for wood processing.
